ALPINA MAPS 1:25.000 * On april 2005 and on june 2006, the spanish publishing house "Editorial Alpina" published the three hiking maps 1: 25.000. which are very accurate: "Tramuntana Sud" (from Sa Dragonera to Esporles, which includes Andratx, Estellencs, Banyalbufar and Puigpunyent), "Tramuntana Central"(from Esporles to the Cúber reservoir, which also includes Deià, Sóller, Bunyola and Alaró) and "Tramuntana Nord" (from Fornalutx to Pollença, which also includes the reservoirs, Sa Calobra, Campanet, Lluc). The maps come with an english booklet in which several hiking routes are described. LATEST EDITIONS: * T. Sud (2. Edition)- February 2011 * T. Central (4. Edition)- February 2013 * T. Nord (3. * The prolific autor of hiking books Paddy Dillon has written: "The Alpina maps are excellent, and much easier to use than the IGN maps.
